AI-Generated Content Policy

WebDecky allows approved authors to sell AI-generated and AI-assisted digital products, provided that the author has the necessary rights to use and redistribute the content commercially and complies with WebDecky's marketplace rules and this policy.

Approved WebDecky authors can sell AI-generated images and other AI-assisted digital products, subject to our marketplace rules and AI-Generated Content Policy.

Authors are responsible for determining the legality of their use and redistribution of AI-generated content and for complying with the terms, licenses, and usage restrictions of the AI service used to create the content.

Commercial Rights

Before submitting an AI-generated product to WebDecky, authors must ensure that the AI provider permits commercial use and redistribution of the generated content.

For example, if an AI service requires a paid subscription for commercial use, the author must have the appropriate subscription or license when creating the content.

Authors are encouraged to keep records of:

• Their AI service subscription or license
• The date the content was generated
• The AI tool or service used
• Any applicable commercial-use license or terms
• The original files and product source materials

Originality and Third-Party Rights

Authors must not submit AI-generated content that infringes another person's or organization's intellectual property rights.

Products must not contain unauthorized:

• Copyrighted material
• Trademarks or logos
• Characters or protected fictional properties
• Celebrity likenesses
• Brand assets
• Stock assets without the required license
• Other third-party intellectual property

Authors are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before submitting it to WebDecky and should remove or correct any potentially infringing or inappropriate material.

AI-Assisted Products

AI may be used as part of the creative process. Authors are encouraged to meaningfully create, curate, edit, refine, organize, test, or package AI-assisted content into a useful digital product.

Mass-generated, unreviewed, copied, misleading, or low-quality AI output may be rejected.

No Guarantee of Exclusivity

Authors should not claim that AI-generated content is exclusive or uniquely copyrighted unless they have the legal rights to make such a claim.

AI-generated content may sometimes be similar to content generated for other users. Authors should describe their products accurately and avoid misleading customers about ownership, originality, or exclusivity.

Seller Responsibility

By submitting an AI-generated or AI-assisted product to WebDecky, the seller confirms that they have the necessary rights and permissions to sell and redistribute the product and that their use complies with the terms of the AI provider and applicable laws.

WebDecky does not determine whether an author's AI-generated content is legally permissible for a particular use. The author is responsible for ensuring that their content, licensing, and distribution comply with applicable laws, third-party terms, and the requirements of the AI service used.

Product Review and Approval

All AI-generated and AI-assisted products submitted to WebDecky remain subject to WebDecky's normal marketplace review and approval process.

Being an approved WebDecky author does not guarantee that every submitted product will be accepted. Products may be reviewed for quality, originality, compliance with marketplace requirements, intellectual property concerns, licensing, and other applicable policies.

WebDecky may reject, suspend, or remove products that appear to violate intellectual property rights, AI provider terms, marketplace rules, this policy, or applicable laws.

Authors are responsible for making sure their products comply with all applicable requirements before submitting them for review.
